Empowering Hundreds

Since opening in 2016, we have supported over 450 survivors of human trafficking and their immediate family members.

Sex and Labor Trafficking

53% of our clients have experienced sex trafficking. 37% experienced labor trafficking. 10% experienced sex and labor trafficking. In 2024, nearly 60% of our survivors’ cases involved labor trafficking.

Who We Serve

Of the human trafficking survivors supported by the SAFE Center, 84% are female, 15% are male, and 1% LGBTQIA+.

Serving All Ages

19% of our clients are between age 8-17, 25% are between age 18-24, 28% are between age 25-35, and 28% are age 36 or older.

Policy Advocacy

The SAFE Center actively works to influence policy and advocate for systemic change to prevent human trafficking and protect vulnerable communities. Through our policy initiatives, we champion survivors' rights and advance legislation that fosters their recovery, empowerment, and long-term well-being.
